I will never understand why I wanted to be thin and lose weight so badly that I destroyed my life over it.

What I got out of ‘being thin’:

  • wearing pants with a different size on the tag, that only I knew
  • seeing a lower number on the scale, which I only I knew anyways

What I lost:

  • money
  • literally every single one of my friends and my entire social life
  • family trust
  • my teenage years
  • my health
  • my sanity
